Section 1 — Consumer Check Cashing Fees
David’s Money Centers of Rockland, LLC charges fees in accordance with the maximum fee schedule established by the New York State Department of Financial Services. For checks, drafts, or money orders payable to natural persons, fees shall not exceed:

| Government & Benefit Checks | 1.5% | Social Security, unemployment compensation, retirement benefits, veteran’s benefits, federal or state monetary assistance, emergency relief, housing assistance, tax refunds, and lottery winnings |
| All Other Consumer Checks | 2.2% or $1.00, whichever is greater | Payroll, personal, insurance, and other non-government checks |
A current fee schedule is posted in-store at each location in English and Spanish, displayed in accordance with New York State Department of Financial Services requirements.
Section 2 — Business and Commercial Check Cashing
Business and commercial check cashing rates vary based on transaction type, check amount, issuer, and other factors.

Section 3 — Transaction Requirements
Certain transactions may require one or more of the following:
- Government-issued photo identification
- Secondary identification documents
- Social Security Number or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number
- Issuer verification
- Additional documentation based on check type or amount
- Manager review for larger transactions
- Advance notice for checks above a certain dollar amount
Submission of an inquiry or presentation of a transaction does not guarantee approval, same-day processing, or availability of funds. All transactions are subject to review and approval at the discretion of David’s Money Centers of Rockland, LLC.
